These terms govern your use of Clipo at clipo.ing. By creating, opening, or sharing a paste, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Clipo is a paste and file sharing tool. You can drop text or files, set how long they live, and send a short link. There are no accounts. The service is provided as-is, without a promised uptime or support contract.

Your content

You own the text and files you upload. You are responsible for them. By using Clipo you grant us a limited license to store, display, transmit, and delete that content as needed to run the service — including showing it to anyone who has the link (and password, if you set one).

A paste URL is enough to share. Treat links like secrets if the content is sensitive. Clipo is not a backup service, encrypted vault, or archive. Expired or deleted pastes may be unrecoverable.

Acceptable use

You may not use Clipo to:

  • Break the law, or share content you do not have the right to share
  • Distribute malware, exploits, or phishing material
  • Share child sexual abuse material, or exploit minors
  • Harass, threaten, or dox people
  • Spam, scrape, or overload the service
  • Probe, disrupt, or bypass rate limits, passwords, or other protections
  • Impersonate Clipo or mislead others about where a link goes

We may refuse, hide, or delete content, block access, or rate-limit requests when we believe these terms are being broken or the service is at risk.

Passwords, links, and privacy

Optional passwords reduce casual access; they are not a guarantee of confidentiality. Custom URLs can be guessed. Read the Privacy Policy for how we store pastes, hashed IPs, and cookies.

Expiration and deletion

You choose an expiration and, optionally, a view limit. We also run cleanup for expired pastes. We may delete a paste sooner for abuse, legal reasons, or operational need. “Never” expire means we do not auto-delete on a timer — it is not a promise of permanent storage.

Availability

Features, size limits, and the site itself may change or go offline. We are not liable for lost pastes, failed uploads, or time the service is unavailable.

Disclaimer

Clipo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that pastes are secure, error-free, or kept for any particular time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator of Clipo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Clipo will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it (which is zero).

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of clipo.ing after an update means you accept the revised terms.
